Aaron's Tale fail

Aaron’s tale
Pain wracked his body as he saw her atomised before him. Enraged he attempted to break free of the chains that bound him.
“I’d be careful if I were you. Those chains are the only thing keeping you tied to this plane of existence.”
With a start Aaron woke from his dream. Sweat glistened from his body as his mind raced at what he had seen and heard. The supposed villain’s laugh stayed suspended in the back his mind chilling him.
Shaking it aside Aaron went through his normal routine of eating and bathing. Today was to be an important day, the day of , what his buddies called “the beginning of the end”. Marriage. For a 25 year old as him he should feel as though he’s ready. But things would for better or worse change only Aaron did not know of the extent of that change.
“Do you Aaron Leumas take this woman as your eternal companion and wife?”
“I do”
“And do you Hannah Annaed take this man as your eternal companion and partner through thick and thin?”
“I…”
Suddenly an explosion of demonic energy knocked all off their feet. In front of them a massive demon covered in flames stepped through a purple portal of an otherworldly type. The demon immediately snatched up the bride to be laughing maniacally. Aaron jumped up and tried to harm the demon but was knocked back by one swipe of its paw.
“The master said not to kill you or the girl. Being the chivalrous type” As it chuckled at its own joke “ I’ll leave her unharmed. You on the other hand can suffer some pain.”
With a snap of its claws little imps poured out and he stepped back into it closing it behind him.
Aaron fought for his life and for her’s as well but soon he was overwhelmed. Awaking with a start Aaron noticed he was in some sort of strange hospital. His attempts to rise were met with pain and blackouts. Two hours later the nurse came in. Still slightly under the effects of the drugs he mistook her as his lost bride. She shushed in back asleep and prepped him for what was to come.
Again he awoke this time he truly saw his wife. The scene was exactly like his dream. A shadowy form stood over him while a portal behind mimicked the night sky.
“So the “hero” has awoken, please don’t struggle with the chains. You lack the skill to stand on even footing near this portal without getting sucked in. I give you a simple choice. More of a test really, to see how much you care about eachother. Let your wife rot in this place and you can go free, no strings or chains. Or you can become changed and you both go free.”
“I’ll take option B.”
“Wrong move genius” and with a snap of his finger Aarons wife was gone, sucked into the portal. “ Don’t worry she’s still alive and fine. I can’t say the same for you.”
Aaron writhed as the change took hold. First his blood boiled firey then his skin turned a red tint. Horns sprouted from his head and demonic wings from his back. His face remained unchanged except for his eyes which looked like a liquid fire always moving.
When the transformation was complete the figure chuckled “You did much better than expected. Perhaps you are who we need. Only time will tell. Anywho now I will send you to another dimension where your bride resides save her and convince her you’re unchanged We will see about fixing you. He then punted Aaron through the portal, head first.
For about five minutes Aaron felt like he was flying, then he crashed to the ground. Behind him the portal closed and he was officially stuck wherever he was. Brushing the dust off he looked around. It seemed to be some sort of plain with a small forest in the distance. It seemed uninhabited except for what looked like a tower in the distance. He decided to head there first because it seemed like the safest place to be.
Inside the tower was an old rusty sword and a grinding wheel that seemed somewhat useable. He sharpened the blade and made it look as good as it gets then rested in some old hay he found in the corner. For days he ventured north always seeing an old castle in the horizon.
Finally on the edge of the world above a swirling vortex. Chills ran down his spine and a strong sulphurous smell filled his nose. Iron blood was on the tip of his tongue as he entered the black fortress. Immediately he spotted his bride chained to a wall, surrounded by eldritch fire. There was only one problem, the demon from before was guarding her.
“Now you can really see what I am and how foolish you are. LET’S SEE WHAT YOU GOT KID.” As the demon charged Aaron truly understood the magnitude of the fight and how screwed he was. Its horns were three meters long and a meter wide. Its forked tail flicked and its mouth grinned. Its breath was flame and death, its claws razors.
The fight went fast and one sided. The demon, overconfident in its ability, swung too hard, to slow and allowed Aaron to jump up and smite the creature. His blade seemed to come alive and suck the life out of the demon. As the demon lay dying, the chains that bound the bride broke and the fire desisted.
As she dropped to her knees she cried. Aaron slowly walked away to face the world.
“Aaron. Where are you … going”
“Away so I won’t torment the woman I love. I saved you because it was right, but now I must go for no one can love a demon”
Suddenly he was spun around and kissed.
The end?
